Principal's Message

From the moment your child is enrolled at St Gregory’s School, Monsignor Tony Ireland, the staff and I will work in partnership with you for the development of your child. St Gregory the Great Primary School exists because it is part of the active community of the Parish of St Gregory the Great. We encourage all parents to be active members of St Gregory’s parish and to share the richness of belonging to and contributing to this community.

We acknowledge the fact that the parents are the primary educators of their children and we are delighted to be able to help in this God given task. By word, action and the example of our own lives, the staff of St Gregory’s will endeavour to provide that education in faith for your children so that they will come to know the person of Jesus Christ and be encouraged to live out the Gospel values in their daily lives.

We further acknowledge our responsibility for providing a broad balanced curriculum, which will enable our children to grow intellectually, emotionally and socially. Research clearly shows that children learn best when parents and school are working together for the benefit of the child. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or queries at any time.

Yours sincerely,

Michelle Verna
